The most accurate way to size this is to measure a hoodie you already own and like.
Lay it flat. Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other, then match that number to the Width column. These are garment measurements, taken flat, not measurements around your body.
For Length, measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Two things will look unusual here compared to our other tops.
The Width numbers run much larger. A small here measures 22 inches across, the same as a large in our unisex tee. That's the dropped shoulder, not a sizing error, and it's why this hoodie wears roomier than the number suggests.
The Length numbers run much shorter. This is a cropped cut, so a small finishes around 18 and a half inches rather than the 28 you'd see on a tee. Sizing up adds about two inches of width per size but well under an inch of length, so if you want more coverage, this isn't the blank for it.
Measurements can vary by up to two inches on any given hoodie.
